Monn. Millennium Magic 'Witchcraft' AM/AOS - Not Blooming

The Monnierara Millennium Magic 'Witchcraft' is an award-winning "Black Orchid." Considered one of the best "almost black" orchid available as the flowers may have tints of burgundy, brown, and blues. The blooms on this plant are thick and waxy with a nice subtle fragrance slowly developing after having been opened for a bit. For the best flowering, it is best to grow under Cattleya conditions. This orchid is a hybrid genus produced by breeding Catasetum, Cynoches, and Mormodes. 

• Plant Stage: First Bloom Stage, currently NOT in bud. 
• Will produce fragrant flowers with 3" Blooms
• Usually a late summer bloomer - has not put out a spike yet.
• Leathery, strap-like leaves-large foliage
• Average Plant Height: 10-12"
• Available in 2 Sizes:  4" or 5.5" Pot (see photos)

Leaves will yellow and drop during or after blooming starting its dormancy period!A deciduous grower that will drop foliage in late fall. The pseudobulb will be completely bald and that is normal. Water regularly and new growth will emerge in spring.
