Orders & Shipping

All plant products are shipped on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday via FedEx Express Service (2–3 Day) to ensure that our orchids are delivered in a timely manner to maintain quality. We do not ship on Thursday or Friday to prevent packages from sitting at FedEx facilities over the weekend.

  • Continental US orders: delivered within 2–3 days after ship date
  • Alaska orders: may take up to 3 days for delivery
  • Hawaii orders: typically delivered within 1 day after ship date

While we do our best to ensure timely shipment of your order, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates once packages leave our facility. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including FedEx closures, extreme weather, or other operational issues.

Weather delays: During winter months, unfavorable conditions may cause us to hold your order until it’s safe to ship. If you request a delay, please note that budded plants may no longer be in bloom when shipped.

Priority Overnight: When available, we may upgrade shipments to FedEx Priority Overnight at no extra cost. This does not guarantee 1-day delivery (except for Hawaii).

Due to Department of Agriculture regulations, plant materials cannot be shipped with non-plant products. Non-plant items may ship separately via USPS, and you may receive multiple boxes.

 

When will my order ship?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days, but live plant shipments only go out Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday mornings via FedEx to ensure timely arrival. Tracking information is emailed once your order ships. Transit times are typically 2–3 business days.

We cannot control FedEx service delays once shipped, but we guarantee our plants upon arrival. If issues occur, we’ll make it right. 

Any address errors or additional requests may delay shipment.

Shipments will be left near the front door if no one is home. If you prefer someone to receive your package, we recommend shipping to a business address.

 

Where do you ship?

We ship our orchids to any physical address throughout the United States via FedEx (2–3 Day). FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes, so incomplete or incorrect addresses may delay your shipment. We do not ship internationally.

California:  Shipments are subject to random inspections by the California Department of Agriculture. 

Alaska: Orders will incur a $30 rural delivery charge and may take an extra day. Some areas require seaplane delivery, which may delay arrival.

Shipments to Alaska may take an additional day to arrive.

 

What if I need to make changes to my order?

If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible. We process orders quickly but will do our best to accommodate requests.

 

When can I expect my package to arrive?

  • Continental US: 2–3 days after shipping
  • Alaska: up to 3 days (+$30 surcharge per box)
  • Hawaii: delivered within 1 day after ship date


If I order multiple plants, will they ship together?

Most plants listed online are ready to ship. Unless noted as a “Pre-Order,” your plants will be packed and shipped together in one package.

 

Can I do an in-store pickup instead of shipping?

Yes! While we don’t offer same-day delivery, in-store pickups are available Sunday–Thursday, 9:00am–3:30pm (HST) in Volcano, Hawaii. Select the In-Store Pick Up option at checkout or call us directly for details. Check our home page for current store hours.

 

Are plants shipped during the winter?

Yes! We insulate our packages to protect orchids during cold weather. If your plant arrives with cold damage, please contact us with photos and we’ll happily send a replacement.

Note: If weather conditions in your area are unsafe for shipping, we may hold your plants until it’s safe to send them. You’re welcome to request a delay, but we cannot guarantee that budded plants will remain in bloom.

 

How do I know my order has been placed?

After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation with your order number. If you don’t see it in your inbox, please check your spam or promotions folder.

If you believe you may have entered your email address incorrectly, please contact us to inquire about your order.

Please note: A temporary hold on your credit card does not necessarily mean your order has been successfully completed.
