How long have you been in operation?
-We have been in business since 1974 and have served many satisfied customers over the years. We started our website in 2003 due to the many requests we received from our loyal customers. Our goal is to bring a piece of Hawaii to our customer’s door steps. For more information about our facility and history visit the About Us section for more info.
What days do you ship?
-For plant and cut flower orders, our regular shipping days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Please select your preferred ship date at checkout. On special occasions we may offer Thursday shipping for an additional $15.00 (Saturday delivery). For gift shop items, we ship Monday through Friday. How will my order be shipped?
-We use Federal Express (FedEx) 2 Day Service for all of our plant and cut flower orders. Gift Shop items will be shipped through USPS Priority Mail. For more information, see our Shipping Schedule for further details.
Does someone need to be there to sign for the box?
-Yes. We ship all of our plant & cut flower orders with DSR (Direct Signature Required) due to the perishable state of the contents. We guarantee that your order will arrive in good condition as long as someone is at the receiving address on the first delivery attempt to sign for the box. When placing an order, you can deny DSR by placing a note in the "comments" section at checkout. However, by doing so, this voids our guarantee & the customer assumes the risk that the contents may not be in optimal condition if the box is left at the doorstep.
Can you deliver my order to an address other than my home?
-Yes. Many of our customers prefer to send their orders to their workplace as someone is always there to receive the box. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
Can the box be left at the door?
-Yes. However, be aware that if you choose to deny DSR and the box is left at the door, our guarantee is null and void.
Will my cut flowers come arranged?
-Most of the cut flowers do not arrive arranged. However, for $12.00 more, we will arrange your flowers in a vase and they will be ready to display upon arrival.
Will my order arrive by a specific date?
-Yes, unless you live in California or Alaska. California's Agricultural Department will pull boxes at random for inspection. Certain places in Alaska require seaplane for delivery. Your selected ship date at checkout will show the arrival date. Hawaii orders will ship through FedEx Overnight Delivery. For these orders, your selected ship date will display a 2-day delivery but upon shipment confirmation, it will arrive overnight.
*Note: Last minute Arizona plant orders placed on Friday or Saturday for selected shipping on the following Monday will be delayed 1 day in shipping out/arriving due to a State of Arizona Agricultural Department requirement of a Phytosanitary Certificate from the State of Hawaii Agricultural Department.
How far in advance should I place my order?
-We recommend that all orders are placed at 2-3 days in advance of desired ship date. When placing an order select a shipping date at checkout.
How do I know if my order was placed successfully?
-You
will receive an email confirmation stating that your order has been
successfully submitted. It is very important that the email address
provided at the checkout process is correct.
How will I know when my order was shipped?
-For Online Orders you will receive an email confirmation when your order is "Awaiting Shipping" & "Shipped". You can log into your account for the tracking numbers. Please see our Shipping Schedule for more details. In store and phone orders – if you provide us an email address at time of ordering, we will email you the tracking numbers.
Can I change an order if it did not ship yet?
-Yes. Please let us know at least 48hrs prior to your order’s shipping date. We will gladly help you to modify your order.
Can I cancel my order if it did not ship yet?
-Yes. Please let us know at least 48hrs prior to your order’s shipping date.
What is your return policy?
-Either the sender or the receiver needs to contact within 7 days of when you received the shipment if anything is wrong or you are not satisfied with the quality/condition of the shipment. As long as someone was at the receiving address on the 1st delivery attempt to sign for the box, we will issue a full refund or replacement. We always want our customers to be satisfied with their order. Please review our Satisfaction Guarantee Policy for more information.
How much are your shipping and handling charges?
-We do not charge any additional fees for our orchid plant and cut flower orders. Gift Shop orders do incur a shipping charge based on total amount purchased. Please see our Shipping Schedule page for more information.
What payment methods do you accept?
-We currently accept Visa & Mastercard.
Will my credit card be charged when I place an order?
-Yes. Once you select the “Place Your Order” button, your credit card will be charged. Credit card authorization will occur at this step and once successful you will be directed to the confirmation page. In the event authorization has failed, you will have another opportunity to make payment again. You will receive an email notification when your order has been processed successfully.
Will I get charged any sales tax?
-For online orders, you will only be charged sales tax if your order is being shipped to Hawaii.
Do you offer any promotions/specials and how do learn more about it?
-We do offer promotions/specials and our valued customers can be informed by signing up to be on our mailing list. We showcase collections which are seasonal and are available for a limited time.
