Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been in operation?
-We have been in business since 1974 and served many satisfied customers over the years. We started our website in 2003 due to the many requests we received from our loyal customers. Our goal is to bring a piece of Hawaii to our customer’s door steps. For more information about our facility and history visit “about us.”

What days do you ship?
-Our shipping days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday by 11am HST at the latest. For more information, see “customer service/shipping”

How will my order be shipped?
-We use Federal Express 2 Day Service for all of our shipping needs.  Fedex Tracking: http://fedex.com/Tracking For more information, see “customer service/shipping”

Does someone need to be there to sign for the box?
Yes. We will guarantee that your order will arrive in good condition As long as someone is at the receiving address on the 1st Attempt of Delivery to sign for the box.

Can you deliver my order to an address other than my home?
-Yes. Many of our customers prefer to send their orders to their workplace as someone is always there to sign for it. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

Can the box be left at the door?
Yes. However, be aware that if the box is left at the door, our guarantee is null and void.

Will my cut flowers come arranged?
-The cut flowers do not come arranged. They come all laid out in a box to make it safer, easier and cheaper to ship. Vases and holders are also not included with your orders as the holders are very heavy and would be expensive to ship.

Will my order arrive by a specific date?
-Yes, unless you live in California or Alaska. California has an Agricultural spot check where they will pull boxes at random for inspection. Certain places in Alaska will need to be delivered by seaplane. *Note: Arizona plant orders placed on Friday or Saturday will be delayed 1 day in shipping out/arriving by due to a State of Arizona Agricultural Department requirement of a Phytosanitary Certificate from the State of Hawaii Agricultural Department. Please view our “customer service” for more information.

How far in advance should I place my order?
We recommend that all orders are placed at least one week in advance. When placing an order earlier then that, be sure to specify what date, not necessarily the event, you would like it to arrive by.

How will I know when my order is shipped?
For Online Orders Only – Unless you specify a certain date you would like your order to arrive by, the orders are sent out on the next scheduled shipping date. Please see our “shipping schedule” for more details. In store and phone orders – we will tell you at the time you place your order.

Can I substitute an order if it did not ship yet?
-Yes. Please let us know at least two day prior to your order’s shipping date. We will gladly substitute your order that is equal or greater value.

Can I cancel my order if it did not ship yet?
-Yes. Please let us know at least two day prior to your order’s shipping date. For more information, see “customer service/guarantee”

What is your return policy?
-Either the sender or the receiver needs to let us know within 10 working days of when you received the shipment if anything is wrong or you are not satisfied with the quality/condition of the shipment. As long as someone was at the receiving address on the 1st Attempt of Delivery to sign for the box, we will guarantee it will arrive in good condition. We want our customers to be satisfied with their order. Please review “customer service/guarantee” for more information.

How do I know if my order was placed successfully?
-You will receive an email confirmation stating that your order has been successfully submitted. It is very important that the email address provided at the checkout process is correct.

How much are your shipping and handling charges?
-Please see our see “customer service/shipping policy” for more information.

What are your payment methods?
-We currently accept Visa & Mastercard.

How can I track my order?
If you would like to receive the tracking number for your order, please let us know by requesting it in the “Special Delivery Information” section when placing your order.

Will my credit card be charged when I place an order?
-Yes. Once you select the “submit order” button, your credit card will be charged. Credit card authorization will occur at this step and once successful you will be directed to the confirmation page. In the event authorization has failed, you will have another opportunity to make payment again. You will receive an email notification when your order has been processed successfully.

Will I get charged any sales tax?
-For online orders, you will only be charged sales tax if your order is being shipped to Hawaii. For all other orders, you will only be charged if you are placing your order from the State of Hawaii.

Do you offer any promotions/specials and how do learn more about it?
-We do offer seasonal promotions/specials and our valued customers can be informed by signing up to be on our mailing list. We showcase collections which are seasonal and are available for a limited time. Valued customers will also receive occasional discounts by signing up for our mailing list.
